Born in snowy Erie PA, now living in Brooklyn NY and shooting all over the country (most often in New York and LA). I studied photography (NYU Tisch School of the Arts) but found the years assisting and producing before I started shooting to be of equal or greater educational value. Ever since I was big enough to hold a camera I loved taking pictures, but I was certain this was the life for me years later, while in college, the very first time I stepped foot on a commercial photography set. I was fascinated by the lighting, amazed by the photo assistants and admired the photographers- I wanted to learn everything and was envious of everyone on set that they had such a cool job. I was hooked (still am!). Many years later, my eyes are no less starry and I'm no less excited every time I step on set to shoot.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with celebrity comedians and entertainers on set and on location shooting for Comedy Central Records and New Wave Entertainment , meet start up kings while shooting magazine covers and features for Entrepreneur Magazine, get squeezed into the very busy schedules of CEOs shooting for Edelman PR, Futures Magazine, Investment Advisor Magazine, and other business publications and travel all over shooting NY Times Best Selling Authors. You can see my work on the cover of Michael Ian Black's new book "You're Not Doing It Right" in Time Out New York, USA Today, LA Weekly, Cosmopolitan.com, Funny or Die.com and in other magazines, billboards, websites, and the like.
If it sounds like a totally sweet gig, it is. I love what I do and I love living in New York City.
(Oh, and I also love food, cooking, talking to strangers, my dog Emma, swimming, running, how toddlers waddle-run, travel, yoga, sarcasm, killing time looking around in book stores, or grocery stores, my huge Ukrainian family, flip flops, and Craig's List is like crack to me.)
